Encouraging Users to Add to Cart

When a user has not added anything to their cart and the click the 'Cart Icon' from the header, they will be displayed with an empty cart. Within this there are a few properties we can customize.

You can customize:

  1. Empty Cart Message
  2. Empty Cart Button Label
  3. Empty Cart Button Link



How to take advantage of this:

This is a great place to send wayward customers back into the shopping funnel. It's also another branding and brand voice opportunity. To edit this follow the following steps:

Step 1: Navigate to 'Cart Settings' from the 'Structured data models' menu

Step 2: Scroll to 'Empty Cart Settings'

Step 3: Update these settings as you see fit.
